Who you're agreeing with
These Terms govern your use of Interview Expert ("the app"), operated by Great X Inc, a company registered in Taiwan. By installing or using the app you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the app.
What the app does
Interview Expert is a voice-first practice tool for job interviews in English. You record an answer to a practice question, our backend generates coaching feedback, and you can drill the same question until your answer is sharp. The app is not legal, career, or employment advice — it's a practice tool.
Free trial
Every new device gets 3 hours of full AI coaching free. No credit card, no time limit on when you use it. The 3 hours are tracked per device, not per Apple ID — uninstalling and reinstalling on the same device doesn't reset the counter.
Paid plans
All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. Prices in your region may differ. Apple's Media Services Terms apply to the transaction itself.
Pro Monthly — US$9.99 / NT$320 per month, auto-renewing
20 hours of practice per month. Your iTunes account is charged at the price shown when you confirm purchase. The subscription auto-renews at the same price every month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or via Settings → Manage subscription inside the app.
Interview Pass — US$24.99 / NT$790, one-time, 30-day access
Full unlimited access for 30 days. This is a one-time purchase. It does not auto-renew. When the 30 days end, you return to the free tier.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or your iTunes account → Purchase History → Report a Problem. We don't have the ability to issue refunds on Apple's behalf. If you believe we billed you in error or the app didn't work as described, email support@interviewexpert.ai and we'll do our best to help you make the case to Apple.
What you agree to
- You're using the app for personal interview practice, not to harass, defame, or generate content about real third parties.
- You won't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the backend in ways that degrade service for other users.
- You won't share your purchased entitlement across multiple devices in ways that violate Apple's Family Sharing terms.
- You understand AI-generated coaching can be wrong. We optimize for usefulness, not authority — use your own judgment about applying any feedback to a real interview.
What we agree to
- We'll make a reasonable effort to keep the service running. We may need brief maintenance windows, especially in the first months after launch.
- We won't sell your transcript data to third parties. The transcript is sent to our backend only to generate coaching, and is retained for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
- We'll give reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms in the app or by email.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Great X Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including (without limitation) interview outcomes, lost employment opportunities, or anything an AI coaching note suggested. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using the app and delete it anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms (for example, abuse of the service or fraudulent payment behavior). Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any portion of a paid subscription period already in progress.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Disputes will be brought in the courts of Taipei, with the exception that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or trade secrets.
Changes to these Terms
If we change anything material in these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes (price changes, new restrictions on use) we'll surface a notice in the app and give you a reasonable window to review before they take effect.
